Feeling overwhelmed from your supply chain? Just take it one step at a time. Here are three steps, or levels, to take in order to achieve efficient operations with Oracle JD Edwards.

Level 1: Automating Your Supply Chain

  • One of the reasons inventories aren’t always accurate is because transactions are entered after the fact. This can result in excess and expired inventory. Having a system that updates your information in real-time can save time as well as money.

Level 2: Performance Metrics Across the Workforce

  • Once you have a good grasp of your inventory, your next step is understanding what your employees are doing. Warehouse supervisors should fairly evaluate and compare their warehouse workers' productivity, enabling them to make better decisions for the business. Plus, allowing managers to track employee’s productivity will help to eliminate mistakes.

Level 3: Advanced Inventory Management Functionality

  • RF-SMART has more than 70 standard workflows, including cycle counts, inventory transfer, and work order completion. And this is just the beginning.
